From start-up to market leader in six years

Six years on from its launch, Hunter Safety Solutions is entering one of its busiest and most exciting periods of growth and development yet, after winning a string of new contracts.

Founded by managing director Katie Hunter, the health and safety solutions specialist started life in small office premises in Howden, East Yorkshire but has since relocated to its own purpose-built headquarters near Castleford in West Yorkshire.

Katie now employs a team of more than 30 people and works with some of the largest companies across the UK and Europe, including Mace, Coca-Cola European Partners, Triumph, ASK Romain, Carlsberg, Mercury, Heineken, AbInBev, Diageo, Krones, KHS, M&S, Philips/Signify, Muller and many others. Turnover has grown by 98 per cent since the first year.

Katie said: “We’ve evolved into a one-stop shop for your health and safety needs, offering consultancy, project management, training and more.

“With a host of new projects starting during the coming months, our seventh year looks set to be our busiest and most exciting yet, and will see members of the team working with high-profile customers across Europe.

“We’ll also be recruiting to a number of new roles as we invest further in our highly-skilled, experienced and dynamic team.”
