Hunter Safety Team Triumph Over Yorkshire's Three Peaks

12 Hunter Safety employees have bravely conquered the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The challenge saw the team take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales. Many of the team completed all three peaks in times between 10 and 15 hours, with others completing two of the peaks in equally awe-inspiring times.

The team chose to take on the 25-mile challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, following a number of employees and their loved ones being affected by heart conditions over the previous year.

Managing Director at Hunter Safety, Katie Hunter, said: “I really could not be prouder of all the team! It was a tough challenge which tested many of us to our limits, but we’ve raised lots of money for a fantastic charity. We’re already looking forward to our next challenge!”

The team have raised over £500 in online donations and are currently counting up their offline donations, which they expect will see their total reach way over the £1000 mark. It’s not too late to sponsor the Hunter Safety team, please visit: www.justgiving.com/hunters-happy-hikers
