Commercial Administrator

 

Job Type - Full Time (Monday to Friday) (8 Hour shift)

Hunter Safety Group are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our team. As a Commercial Administrator, you are responsible for all commercial and project-related data.

 

Key purpose of the role:

Responsible for all commercial and project related data, updating live and future project pipeline information. Working within the commercial team, this role is responsible for writing all quotes and updating the business/management team on outstanding quotation actions.

 

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Carry out and complete all proposals for potential Hunter projects seeking approval from management before the proposal is forwarded for distribution.
  • Ensure all proposals submitted are inline with the company Gross Margin target and that a cost calculator is produced for each proposal.
  • Manage the pipeline of sales activity, providing accurate and timely information to the operations and finance functions to enable them to complete their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and update the management team on any outstanding actions relating to leads/proposals.
  • Review and implement processes to manage client relationships effectively including client reviews and operations manager support.
  • Monitor and track all project materials and supplier invoices.
  • Ensure all project materials are tracked and supplier invoices monitored.
  • Ensure suitable contracts in place for all projects.
  • Identify opportunities to increase business growth with existing or new clients and liaising with Operations Managers to ensure all opportunities are explored.
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations to establish client purchase orders and ensure all invoices are produced accurately and by the required deadlines.
  • Manage and develop processes for recording all Commercial data.
  • Produce information for and present the Pipeline information at the operations team meeting.
  • Involvement in project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Achieve 100% completion of monthly KPI’s set by the business.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any reasonable request made by the Directors and management team.

  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Previous experience of working with contracts.
  • CDM Awareness.

 

Desirable

  • Woking knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Previous experience of working with budgets.
  • Business or Maths (or related) degree.
