This course provides awareness of the health risks associated with DSE. Delegates will learn how to assess their work station, set it up correctly and by following ergonomic principals adequately control the risk to their health and safety. This course is suitable for anyone who works with a computer or other DSE equipment such as stage monitors (e.g. process monitors, office staff and sound technicians) for more than 1 hour continuously per day.
Delegates will learn about the laws and legislation regarding use of Display Screen Equipment and the risks to health from DSE use, and how the use of adequate controls can prevent or minimise negative effects upon the body.
