Finance Administrator

 

Job Type - Full Time (Monday to Friday) (8 Hour shift)

Hunter Safety Group are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team. As a Finance Administrator, you will support all the key financial processes across the business.

 

Key purpose of the role:

Assisting the finance and commercial team with all administrative duties. The role of the Finance and Commercial Administrator is to support all the key financial processes across the business.

 

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Input invoices onto Sage.
  • Create new suppliers and updating supplier details on the system.
  • Raise sales invoices, processing payments and associated credit control and filing.
  • Code invoices with nominal code and cost centre and posting invoices on to the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices are appropriately authorised and filed correctly.
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigating any differences.
  • Process employee expenses and credit card expenses.
  • Reconcile bank transactions.
  • Deal with international invoicing and payments.
  • Support with Commercial administration tasks.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial and business projects.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any reasonable request made by the Directors and management team.

 

Required

  • Excellent administration and organisation skills.
  • Thorough and high attention to detail.
  • IT Literate - Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a finance team or similar role.
  • Experience inputting data.
  • Commercial awareness.

 

Desirable

  • Experience using Sage 50 & 200.
  • Qualification in related field.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems.
