HOWDENS JOINERY REDEVELOPMENT

Hunter Safety Solutions were appointed to provide health and safety support on over £350 million of redevelopment projects at the Howdens Joinery site in Howden, East Yorkshire.

This involved supporting the client in discharging their duties under 2015 CDM regulations, as well as reviewing their CDM management systems to ensure best practice.

Hunter’s were able to provide fully integrated health and safety advisors for the works, liaising with key personnel on site and creating strategic improvement plans.

The team played a leading role in accident investigations and corrective action management. They also took the lead on health and safety audits on manufacturing, capital projects and environmental management systems.

Hunters became an integral part in numerous high-level meetings, often presenting and chairing specific elements.
