TULIP FOODS SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Hunter Safety Solutions were appointed as Principal Contractor for a ventilation project within Tulip Foods (now Pilgrim's UK) food processing factory in Dukinfield.

The experienced safety management team was brought in to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, through planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordinating the construction phase.

They liaised directly with the client and Principal Designer to ensure all risks were effectively managed, promoting operational excellence at all stages of the construction project.

Hunters were responsible for providing and implementing a management system, alongside continual improvement plan, as well as delivering CDM Awareness training for all appointed duty holders and managers.  

As with all Hunter sites, staff welfare is paramount so the team were also involved in consulting with the staff around their health safety and welfare, providing recommendations on how this could be improved.
